Science for Shooting STARs Community Service Opportunity

Science for Shooting STARS is committed to addressing the need for STEM education in the 21st century. Our team is made up of 20 high school students from the Worcester, Metrowest, and Greater Boston areas of MA. We are dedicated and caring individuals who teach our younger peers about various STEM topics monthly. Our vision is to unlock the potential of young minds who can then tackle the global challenges our society will face in the future. This organization is focused on hands-on experiments and demonstrations for elementary students. The program meets one to two times a month during the school year at the Medford Boys and Girls Club. Lessons are usually on a Monday or Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
No prior experience is needed. If interested please contact, Michelle Nguyen at mnguyen16@medford.k12.ma.us or visit http://www.scienceforshootingstars.org/ for more information.
