VOLUNTEER AT THE ANNUAL WGBH CLASSIC CARTOON FESTIVAL – NOVEMBER 1, 2016

The Annual Classical Cartoon Festival returns Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 10am-4pm at Boston’s Symphony Hall located on 301 Massachusetts Avenue. This fun-filled community event will feature Warner Bros. cartoons set to classical music on a giant screen along with live performances. Kids will have the chance to participate in interactive games, enjoy face painting, and more! PBS characters Word Girl, Clifford, Curious George, Arthur, and Chirp will join them!

 

Volunteering during the Classical Cartoon Festival is a great way for students from the Medford High School to fulfill their community service requirement!

 

WGBH is expecting 4,000+ attendees and we need your help to ensure kids of all ages have a noteworthy’ time. CLICK HERE for detailed descriptions of volunteer positions that are available. Students should e-mail Volunteer Manager Jaime Reese (jaime_reese@wgbh.org) if they would like to volunteer. Students should include the following information in their email response: 

  • Full name
  • Top 3 volunteer positions in order of preference (e.g. face painting, coloring station, floater, etc.).
  • Preferred shift‹there are three shifts to choose from on Saturday, November 19, 20169am-1:30pm, 1-5pm, or 9am-5pm.
